WHAT: Phil, along with the great Scott-E on percussion, will be hosting an open mic night!

WHY: Cause you’ll get to see Phil and Scott play some songs, other talented people plays some songs, and you, yes YOU, can even play some songs yourself if you want! Or sing with Phil and Scott. You know this is what you’ve been dreaming about all year (I mean, for the last 12 months. If it were all year, it’d just be like, three weeks)
COMMENTS: So we’re hosting an open mic at what looks to be a great new bar/restaurant in an up and coming area of Dorchester. We’ll open the night with a few songs, and probably close the night with a few songs. As for what happens in between, it kind of depends. If there are a lot of open mic-ers, we’ll just be hosting and hanging, drinking and eating. If there are not a lot of participants, then we will be providing the lovely music ourselves for the remainder of the evening!
AND: Riverside Train (Phil fronting his former band)
WHEN: Saturday February 11, 2012, 8pm
WHAT: Phil will be playing his “solo career” songs with his band, followed by him fronting a reunion of his former band Riverside Train
WHERE: The Times

COMMENTS: In addition to being a reunion of his former band, this is likely to be Phil’s final live music performance. Yes, you read that correctly. So if you’ve been thinking about coming to a show but haven’t, this is the one!
